With the end of the year fast approaching, I would like to take this opportunity to report on the progress we've made as an organization. While we haven't quite achieved the growth and awareness we had hoped for, I'm optimistic that 2024 holds more promise, and I want to assure you that we'll be working tirelessly on increasing our engagement in the coming year.
It is with mixed emotions that I must also report a change in our leadership. Our director, Corrinda, has moved on to pursue a new and exciting career path. While I knew this was a possibility, it has still left us with a significant gap in both the business and personal sides of the foundation. We want to take this moment to wish her all the best in her new endeavors! We are confident that she will continue to achieve great success.
As we enter this new chapter, we understand the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. We are already in the process of searching for our next director, someone who will bring fresh perspectives and expertise to drive our organization forward. Rest assured that we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the foundation's momentum.
In addition to addressing our leadership changes, we are also evaluating our strategies and initiatives. We recognize the importance of adapting to the ever-changing landscape to remain relevant and impactful. Our team is actively exploring new avenues to enhance our programs and reach a wider audience. We firmly believe that innovation and continuous improvement are key to achieving our goals.
Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout the year. Your dedication and commitment have been instrumental in our progress, and I am confident that together, we will overcome any challenges that come our way. As we look towards the future, know that we value your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with us. Your insights will be crucial in shaping our path forward.

This leadership transition has understandably contributed to a slight delay in our activities. Without someone in place to oversee our day-to-day operations, I regretfully admit that I wasn't able to keep things moving as smoothly as I should have. In hindsight, I recognize that I should have engaged the board earlier to help keep us on track. I genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding during this period of transition. I look forward to speaking with each of you individually and collectively to hear your valuable thoughts on our outlook for the coming year.

Given the circumstances, we have collectively decided to forgo our final meeting of the year in favor of a well-deserved reset next month. This will allow us to regroup, refocus our efforts, and develop a solid plan to propel us forward in the coming year. You can expect a formal meeting invitation in the coming weeks, where we can come together and strategize collaboratively.
